You wern’t an accident. You weren’y mass produced. You aren’t an assembly line product. You were deliberately planned, specifically gifted, and lovingly positioned on the Earth by the Master Craftsman.

I believe God has given all of us something that makes us unique and gives us value. It’s a bit up to us to determine what that divine gift is and what it does to others when they come into our path.
After the death and resurection, Jesus, the promised early believers they would receive something beyond themselves as a gift and a witness to the resurection power that was exerted in Him when God raised Him from the dead. A spiritual dynamic (dunamis) that would impart spiritual power. It became obvious this kind of dynamic, was available to anyone that God chose, so they in turn could be a conduit of healing. This can come even through a little child.
This dynamic, may express itself to individuals emotionally, physically or spiritually. It may be manifest in peacefulness or calm, when ministering to those that are struggling. I don’t believe spiritual qualities are the result of personal achievement, but all believers can come to know and acknowledge, with gratitude the gifts God gives them.
My personal affirmation? I can be a conduit to channel healing to others. I am inspired, passionate and enthusiastic about communicating freedom and triumph in the struggle that is life. The definition of the word Enthusiasm comes from the Greek word entheos, meaning “to be filled with God.”
I can think of several times in my life when I have felt the sting of personal failure, but today I realize many of these experiences and struggles have actually equipped me to be more empathetic and understanding. Though theological knowledge is of consequence to me, I do not consider ministry to be exclusively about theological knowledge. Life has taught me that people, especially those who are struggling, don’t care how much I know, until they know how much I care.
As a pastor, I especially enjoy being part of a wedding celebration. The first recorded miracle that Christ did was at a wedding. He turned something very ordinary (water), into something very extraordinary (wine). This was to be the essence of his life and ministry. From this point forward He would take the ordinary elements in life, like people, and turn them into something amazing.
