Dear Galen,
Where to start? From the moment Zack and I met you, we knew it was a ‘match made in Heaven’. When you rode up on your Harley, before you even walked in the door, Zack said, and I quote, “I wanna be friends with this guy.” We spoke with many people capable of performing the ceremony, but you exceeded our standards without even trying.  It was a blessing and a miracle to have found you, and we will forever be grateful for it.
When you spoke to us about how love was a verb and not just a feeling, it struck not only Zack and me to the core, but our families as well. After the ceremony, there were many others as well who were SO impressed with how easily and genuinely you presented yourself, they were all very interested to know how we found such a great guy =)
As you know, we are spiritual people, but in a private and personal way, and so it was important to us to find someone who could respect and understand that. The way you presented the entire ceremony, from the welcoming of our guests, to the vows, was exactly what we could have ever hoped or dreamed for. I am not a person who typically cries, and while I believe that a wedding brings out certain emotions, it does not change the fact that I have always been a certain way, and when I least expected it, your words truly touched my heart and brought on the water-works.
We are so lucky to have found you Galen, our ceremony would not have been as perfect as it was without you, and we are forever indebted to you (in the most positive way)! We hope to always know you, and we hope you will come see us in Virginia whenever you can! Zack too, has a Harley, so a ride throughout the countryside on the East Coast is always at your disposal =)

Thank you for making our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding so special. You exceeded all of our expectations and we are so grateful. You created a ceremony that was not only personal, but absolutely pertinent to the importance of marriage.  We had so many people come up to us afterward saying they were so thankful to have the reminder that love is a verb.  The message you presented during the ceremony will not only be cherished by the bride and groom; but by all that were in attendance.

From a very young age, I spent my Sundays listening to Galen preach to my local church. He has such a powerful yet friendly way of speaking that when I was looking for a officiate; he was the first person I thought of.
During our meeting, he asked about the type of wedding we envisioned and the type of ceremony we were looking to have. Looking back, we really didn’t give him a lot of direction. I had put all my faith in him and he did not disappoint. The ceremony he performed was just beautiful. He took the story of how Dave and I met, and developed a memorable ceremony that involved our past and future as a couple.
After the wedding, we received so many compliments on the service. We heard comments like “We’ve been to a lot of weddings, but that was the best ceremony we’ve ever heard.”
If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Galen made the process extremely easy, and delivered the most beautiful ceremony I could ever ask for. I recommend him to any couples who are getting married.

My husband and I were married June 25th, 2010.  With no religious ties in Madison and having an outdoor ceremony, we had an interesting time finding an Officiant who would help make our day special.  Luckily, I stumbled upon Galen’s website and contacted him.
From the beginning, Galen was extremely easy to work with, full of ideas, and he was really focused on helping make our ceremony unique and special.  My husband and I wanted to write our own vows, incorporate a Lasso ceremony from his Mexican culture, and still maintain a religious undertone to our ceremony.  Moreover, the speech that Galen prepared about the work and commitment it takes to maintain a loving marriage was the perfect vocalization of the values my husband and I hold ourselves to.  Throughout the entire process, Galen was so accommodating and worked with us to ensure that the ceremony went smoothly and it was everything we wanted it to be!
